I have acquired a Dell Latitude D-600 and want to use it with internet access at a local library. However I need to know where the button is on the keyboard to turn on the internet access. The computer has XP-Internet Explorer already available to use but needs internet access. I understand I can use the library link until I get with a provider. Is there anything else that needs to be setup before I try the internet access?
    Thanks

In theory, all you should have to do is plug in the eithernet cable at the library.

I discovered the hard way that some laptops have a small switch on one side or the other that manually toggles the wireless function off and on. I had never noticed it and apparently moved it to the off position by accident. I don't have my own laptop and was using a borrowed one - delayed my presentation for a while till I figured it out.

Don't know if that's what you are looking for but thought I would give it a shot.
