hello telephonics, it seems like your missing a video codec. (plz check your video file type and check if its an AVI)

    I have 2 possible solution.
    - http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ (IMHO is the best video player available, it plays virtually anything and doesnt require codecs)
    - http://www.headbands.com/gspot/ (only get this if the video is an AVI, that program will "scan" your AVI files and will tell you which codecs are required (video as well as audio) and whether they are installed on your system or not but you will still have to find, download and install them.

PS there are alot of codec packs out there personally, I do not recomend using them.
