    Hi,
Please help!!! I am going to be working away from the office and would like my email from Microsoft Outlook to be delivered to my Hotmail account. I have tried to set the rule, but I had no luck. Thanks:)

    Welcome to WindowsBBS;)

Its always a good idea to mention with version of Outlook you're using...And I'm guessing you don't mean Outlook Express.

But, it Outlook 2003, you'd create a Message Rule:

    (this is the simple outline)
    Check Message when they arrive
    Sent Only to Me
    Forward to people/list

  3. to hide this advert.

    Thanks Steve.
It is Microsoft Outlook 2003. I set the rule just like you said. I wanted it forward to my gmail account but did not work.

Do you have a "contact" setup in Outlook that goes to the Gamil account?

1st, when you are away, is your OL mail client running 24/7? If not, it won't work.

2nd, It may be a whole lot easier to just forward the mail from your mailbox (the original box where the mail is received, not your email client).
