Ok, here is my problem, and what I have done so far. I can not install software, or some other software that is install will not run. I receive and error stating "A debugging error has occured, turn off your debugging software. ". I turned off script debugging, turned off debugging under control panel, I looked to trun off debugging under admin in control panel but it does not show up. I have turned off EVERYTHING in task bar that is non essential. I still get the error. I uninstalled all the udates for XP, then reinstalled the lastes SP1, still get error. I contacted the software companies, they threw their hands in the air. I contact MS, guess what, I told them the steps I took, and they didn't even know what I was talking about. So, I am at the end of my rope. Does anyone know what F^*(*#G piece of MS is running causing the debugging problem. I do not have any debugging software installed besides what ms put in xp. I uninstalled my virus software. Still no help. I have a c drive with xp on it with files, I have a D drive with junk on it, can I install xp on my D drive and boot from the D drive when I want to to see if the error goes away.
Thanks to anyone who can help.

You might try changing the options under Startup and Recovery (My Computer properties, Advanced).

Also, have you disabled or changed any services to manual?
Try using the default services configuration, if you have changed anything (in Services Help).

If you have Sun Java, try uninstalling it.
