    Please state your OS or post in the appropriate forum - moved to Windows XP.

    Control Panel > User Accounts > Pick an Account to change.

    Do this
    Control Panel > User Accounts > Pick an Account to change.
    From There select the account you want to delete, You may require a password. Supply it and then delete that account !!!

    unable to find user account

    I appreciate the tips on how to delete my account, however, after spending a significant amount of time I cannot locate where it says USER ACCOUNT.
    I did go under -My Control Panel but after that I am lost.:confused:

    Thanks Pete & sorry about any confusion. :eek: I am going to keep the account open for the time being but will check that out when I close it.

    Oh, I want to do things right. Can you share what I did incorrect or where I should have posted? Or is it that I didnt mention I have Vista?:)

    If Pete doesn't catch up with that question, the list of forums should be in the left hand pane. If you are surfing around the various forums, check at the top left-hand corner of the forum list of threads, for example, the Vista forum is
