I am doing nothing different than I have done for the last four months, and all of a sudden I cannot forward URLs or Internet pages without getting the pesky script error message.

Do I need to download "free error scan" or something like that, or is there a hidden place I can go to tell Vista to please quit annoying me?

In IE->Tools->Options->Advanced tab are three options about displying/not displaying script errors.

  3. to hide this advert.

Thanks a lot, Steve. I have disabled two script messages in the place you sent me to. We'll see if that does the job.

Do you know why these windows just arbitrarily started appearing? Very strange....

OK. Disabling the script messages (someplace where there were lots of options to check off), has not worked. I am still getting these messages, which are beyond annoying.
What would set them off in the first place? I haven't changed anything -- I am not clever enough to change anything!
