Sounds like your processor temperature - where did you get that info from?

Clearer information from SIW - Hardware > Sensors.

I don't think its the cpu, because i have my cpu + cores diplaying as cool. Some think its the NB other say its a link between the NB and SB?

I think its an nvidia specific mobo thing.

It shows in everest under spp and from what i read only everest currently supports monitoring of it.

Can't really help further - I have an nVidia based Asus board and nothing like that appears in Everest - free edition.

Have a read here. Seems it's the chip set temperature and prone to errors (as regards to the temperature readings).

    thanks anyway :)

I'm using everest ultimate so maybe thats why, also its a 680i fyi.

I'm going try mount a side intake fan so hopefully if i can get it it will lower the temp a little

heh seems we posted right after after each other,

that would explain a lot because i have a temp sensor on the NB + SB and the temps are no where near as high but i guess the sensor could not be showing the exact temp since it was a little hard getting them on but still, its a lot higher. or spp is another component.

Under load everything but my gpu stays under around 56c.

going to read that link now

ahh i think i read that link before,
i though since my everest version number is higher and not beta that this issue would of been fixed, can't see what version it is atm because of testing(prime) also i can't remember if i went to the bios and looked for NB temp i think i did and it wasn't listed. prob because they have later chipsets.

I'll see if theres a newer version to download and i'm not going to worry about it much but will still try install the side fan only if it doesn't require HS repositioning as i read it might in my case, can't be bothered doing all that again.

    :)
