I use the Mostly Crystal theme to brighten up SM browser on one XP machine still at 1.1.14, and two Vista machines, one at 1.1.15 and one still at 1.1.14. No problems.

Now, I have a new machine running WinXP, and the theme will not install. In fact, no alternative themes will install.

The new machine is an Acer Inspire notebook #150-1635, with an Intel Atom processor, I think N270, 1.6 gigs and hyperthreaded, and the DRAM is DDR2 1024 gigs.

    Any ideas?

    Richard,

Try updating to the current version of SeaMonkey, and see if the Themes work. As there is no Safe Mode, not until Version 2.0, that isn't an option.

Is this where you downloaded Mostly Crystal for SeaMonkey:

    Hi Ramona-

iJohnE got me fixed up with the site of the builder. I am all set. But, there is more ahead, I cannot get Colorful Tabs to install. All it tells me is that it downloads a .xpi file to the Profile. I cannot find it, and I never needed to find it before on other machines.
