WireLess installation at Win-XP

    Hi,
    I am having Toshiba Satellite L100 laptop. I have installed Windows XP professional successfully.Its realtek ethernet is working fine but as soon as the windows find a new hardware for wireless,its completly hanged.

    My wireless h/w is Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network.
    If I restart the windows then during the booting time its get hang.SO I hv to disable from driver manager in safe mode.

    If I enable the Wirless device from device manager then windows also hangup.

    Please help me out to use the wireless.

    Check to see that you have the Remote Procedure Call (RPC) service set to automatic and started. Also check the Wireless Zero service for likewise settings.

    Start > Run > type services.msc and press enter or click OK.

    Sevices are running. :( . As soon as I enable the hardware windows XP hang

    You'll want to install the latest driver for that hardware and your system combination.

    I did the same, but driver ask to enable this h/w and as soon as I enable the h/w system hang up .

    Perhaps you got the wrong drivers. For laptops, Intel recommends that you get the driver from the manufacturer of your laptop.
