It's always a good idea to post links.....I've never heard of it...

    Is this it:
    http://radarsync.en.softonic.com/

If so, I wouldn't recommend it or anything like it. Newer drivers don't always mean better drivers.....A person can go years without updating drivers and never have an issue. The only exception is if you have a mid to high end video card....Just my 2 cents.

Thanks for the reply Steve. Sorry for not putting the Link up here. A friend gave me this site ...

    http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/System-Miscellaneous/RadarSync.shtml

The reason I got a bit suspicious, that when I did a check, one of the updates was actually older than the one I've on here already.

Why am I beginning to think this program might be better when it's uninstalled?

Let me know if you find anything more. Again, I appreciate your feedback.

I agree with Steve. I took a look at the program and was not entirely impressed, espcially as it had Beta stamped across the window corner.

As Steve said you can run with 'old' drivers for ever and a day - up to a point and it is a known fact that the latest drivers can cause problems on some systems - graphics drivers in particular.

Far better to let things be and if you feel that a particular problem is driver related go to the horses mouth - the manufacturer's website for updates and I would include the motherboard manufacturer's web site too.

Beware of BIOS updates unless they correct a problem you are experiencing or provide additional facilities/compatability that you require.

Also note that downloading drivers via Windows/Microsoft Update is not a good idea either. For some unknown reason they often foul up a perfectly good system - go to the manufacturer's web site direct.

PeteC, I appreciate the advice given here. When one finds an expert, us little fellas are to listen. I can uninstall Radar-sync as quickly as I installed it.

I find it interesting that you mention updating drivers via Windows / Microsoft. I suppose it makes perfectly good sense to go as you say, to the horses mouth and get the proper updates.

Again, thanks for the instructions. Much appreciated!!!

You know what, I followed your links for RadarSync and I know for a fact that that's a very old version. The new version is already "RadarSync 2009" and several version #s later. It's no beta either. I find this new version to be an excellent program. The direct download link from the company is :

Still the argument above is valid:
