ive got 2 sys mech pro 8 thru iolo. long story wont go there. my year is up on one and i want to activate it on the other. iolo says to uninstall and remove certain registry keys and reinstall it, but it never ask for a key and when done i go to help-about sys mech 8 and my old key is there again. why renew my old key if i got a new one with 10 months left? thaks

if this is against the rules. then u can delete this thread. i can see where your comming from

The information will be in a hidden and inaccessible area of the registry. I think your only option is to take this up with Iolo.

    yup

figures. ioli just sends a "form" letter. remove registry entry and install. same response every time. oh well guess they lost a customer.

OK, uninstall the program. Then download and install the latest version of RegSeeker. Then, using RegSeeker, do a search for system mechanic and remove all entries found. Whatever ioli is, do a search for that as well (using RegSeeker). Remove all entries found. Reboot and then do your Registry Mechanic install and use the new key.
