A colleague has a laptop which recently appears to have been "invaded" by
    Pareto Logic - Driver Cure.
Each time she opens the computer, this Pareto Logic appears - and she cannot even log out of it.
Is there a way to completely disconnect this "invader" so that she can log into the internet in the normal way.
    Thanks!

Uninstall it. If she hasn't paid for the full version, it won't do anything useful anyway.

Uninstall via Control Panel or Program Menu item. Either way will stop the problem.

If she has bought the full version, you can open the program and uncheck the Auto run features such as Updating and Drive Scanning. Also delete any Scheduling it sets up by default.
