third harddrive

    I have just installed a third hdd, all three show up in the Bios & Device Manager, but the newly installed hdd doesn't show up in My Computer! any help will be appreciated. Thanks

    Have you formatted the drive?

    Go to disk manager

    Start->run->diskmgmt.msc

    Select your new drive, format and assign a drive letter.

    this was my first attempt at installing a hdd, your help did the trick completely, many thanks once again
