Cant Delete Emails In Outlook Express ver 6

I've had this problem for a few months now. Outlook Express won't let me delete any emails from the inbox. I tried moving them from the inbox to other folders and delete them that way, but no dice. I've searched the net for "fixes" for this problem and none have worked. One fix was to delete the "inbox file" but that only allowed me to delete 4 emails and that was all it would allow. I can't be the only person having this problem so If anyone else is having this problem please let me know if there's a fix for it. I'd of done a full recovery on my pc months ago but I have software on it now that cannot be replaced. I'd like to save myself from losing this software if possible.

I guess I should add. . . . everything else in Outlook Express works ok, I just can't delete any of them.

 

Are you saying you deleted inbox.dbx with OE closed and it did not clear your inbox?

 

I did delete the original inbox.dbx after i moved all the emails out of it. I moved them back in after OE made the new inbox folder. I still can't remove them with the delete button.
