Windows Vista Urls: Firefox and Vista won't allow me to put them in folders

    I try to drag to my desktop, as I have before. Now they won't. I copied and cut the urls to a folder, I was not allowed the option to paste.

    I have firefox 3.0.6 and vista home premium. Does anyone have any ideas what is up?

    If you wish to create a Desktop icon for a URL, this might be a work-around for you.

    Bookmark the URL
    Open Bookmarks
    Right click on the Bookmarked entry and select Copy
    Move the mouse to the Desktop and right click
    Select Paste Shortcut
