Powerpoint troubles after Firefox Uninstall

    Running Win XP

    A friend of mine is having trouble viewing powerpoint files (.pps) AFTER uninstalling FIREFOX browser. He has reverted back to using IE7 but can't get powerpoint files which other people have sent him to play. Before he installed and used FIREFOX, he had no problem with .pps files being sent to him.

    Assuming he still has his MS OFFICE CD, does it allow for a CUSTOM INSTALL so he can select and re-install POWERPOINT ONLY?

    You may find it less trouble to use PowerPoint Viewer 2007 rather than install PowerPoint simply to view .pps files.
