Hi guys, I have just had a new problem develop when I opened MS Word. A message appears with dreaded Yellow triangle and exclamation mark:
"The function you are attempting to run contains macros or content that requires macro language support. When this software was installed, you (or your administrator) chose not to install support for macros or controls. "
There is a window inside this with instructions on how to set macros security. I have to close out about 4 times before this irritating message goes. It seemed to start this problem after an auto update installed NET.3.5 I have uninstalled NET 3.5 and the message is still appearing. Microsoft Office Word 2003 was working perfectly and I never saw this message. How do I get rid of this? Neil.

Sorry Arie. Steve I tried ALL settings LOW-MED-HIGH-VERY HIGH and the message still appeared. It's puzzling me because I have not added any new software or altered anything. I could only associate the MS NET3.5 update which may have effected something. Would reinstalling correct it? Neil.

Hi Guys, after searching and trying several "fixes" which didn't, I finally uninstalled MS Word 2003. I shut down all AV's and Firewalls and disconnected Broadband then reinstalled MS Word 2003 from my CD. All back to normal and no annoying message. It may not work for everyone but it has for me yippee! Neil.:D:D:D
