    Hi hawk22,
Thanks for the explanations. I don't have Nero. Actually don't know what that is.

I think you are correct about ASUS. At one point I accidently found the feature you are talking about but I closed it out without even checking to see where I found it because at that time i did not have this problem. I think I will look around to see if I can find it again. I went to the link you gave me for CPU_Z. A very cool compact little Utility. Thanks for the link.
You are correct my CPU is reportedly running at 2800 to 2801. Constantly changing. This is a very cool Utility.

Well. talking to everyone has got me thinking I should just rebuild my computer. I play a lot of games so I am looking into the NVidia Motherboards. Maybe if I get a decent Pentium Quad core CPU and the newest Nvidia Graphics card I will be able to bypass this problem. The prices are pretty decent nowadays. I am just not the most educated in what is the most compatible setup.
Maybe I will post a new thread to see what the pros and cons are on the available hardware.
Does anyone know what the best category would be to ask questions about performance of new CPUs and Motherboards etc. so i can make an informed decision?
