uninstall 2nd windows xp on same drive

    Could some one please tell me how I can uninstall the windows xp os that I installed on the same drive as the one I wish to keep. Thanks

    You can simply delete it while booted to the system you wish to keep. Then you'll need to edit your boot.ini file to remove the loader line for that system.

    If you will give some more information, it will make it easier and safer to guide you, if that is necessary. How did you happen to install XP twice? What is the name of the folder containing the second install? Is the original install working properly? Post the contents of your boot.ini file. It's a hidden file so you must set you system to display such files. It's a plain text file so you can open it with Notepad and copy/paste the contents in a post here.
