Ihave some issues replacing my old DC with a new one.

The old DC has tons of problems and I have decided to install a new DC on my domain. The old DC was also running DHCP, i want the DHCP on my router but when adding the role DHCP and trying to authenticate the DHCP I get an error message that AD cannot be contacted. When I installed the new server with AD I first added the role DNS and then ran dcpromo, after that I moved the FSMO roles.

Then when I shut down the old DC the network goes down to. I cannot connect to the internet through IE, but only MSN and the connection to my exchange server also fails.

    I need help.

Did you authorize the new DHCP server in the AD? If not, the DHCP server will be stopped, which looks like what is happening here.

    Dhcp

As I recall from the first time I configured a DHCP, the authentication is done in the DHCP not in the AD.

If you run a 2003 network, AD will stop DHCP from running on any domain member server unless it is authorized in AD

You cant get off your lan, because you never made the new server a dns server for your clients .. it is still using the offline server.
