I exported my email addresses from TBird to a CSV file and want to import them into Outlook 2003, I did and got the names but not the email.
Then I deleted them all and tried to import them again. Doing this I got
"Cannot contacdt to LDAP server. I then uninstalled Outlook to see if that was a problem! It re-installed the same way.

I am considering editing the registry to remove all mentions of Outlook to see if that would help but decided to post here first :) I wanted a clean Outlook to start again clean.

I want to combine the email, calendar and reminders that Outlook offers but I am now wondering if it is worth the trouble.

    Any help

Did you also attempt to Export messages/emails? Or did you only export the addressbook info?

Have you go back to Tbird and looked for an Export of mail options?

I just looked into TBird and saw no option to export messages - Yes I only exported the addresses and then looked at the csv file. It looked right

If Tbird doesn't have an export function - you're out of luck....Outlook doesn't have an import option that would help...

TBird DOES have the option of exporting addresses but NOT messages. I do NOT want to export messages ONLY addresses so your reply does not apply
