    Hi killerbee
    Welcome to the boards.
What if you go up to tools..then internet options...then under the advanced tab.....down to multimedia...and select Always show Internet Explorer Radio Toolbar?

You're sure? You won't be able to go to view....until after you've gone through internet options?

    radio tool bar

Daizy and killerbee, I believe that with the "upgrade" to IE6 SP1, the radio tool bar may have been moved to a selection when using the Media button on the tool bar. If you don't already have it on your toolbar, you can choose it from the 'customize' option when right clicking the main toolbar.

I, however, could not get my radio selections to play properly, so I decided to upgrade to Media Player 7.1. After I downloaded, I went back to Microsoft to check for further upgrades. I found that there was a security update required for Media Player 7.1 which I had just downloaded. Microsoft does it again. I downloaded the security update.

After all of this, I discovered that my ZoneAlarm freel, version 2.6.362, would not function at high security settings when running MP 7.1. I finally gave in and went ahead with downloading the latest version of ZoneAlarm 3.1.024. That allowed me to play the radio while leaving my firewall to remain set in their previous settings at high security, although now I'm without the extended e-mail virus protection that the prior version of ZoneAlarm free allowed.

    Good luck.

Killerbee, found this information at Microsoft that explains what has happened:
