Resolved What does Office Live do

With my last Windows update I downloaded and installed Office live. I have a Toolbar now on all my Office applications that even though I remove keeps coming back ever time I open an application again. The strange part is I don't even know what it does.
I use my PC for personal use and don't do any Instant Messaging, don't have or need a webpage or blog. Can someone give me a condensed version of what it does and how to get rid of the toolbar permanently if I don;t need it.
