Is it possible that, within a favorite folder, it is impossible to drop & drag an entry for the purpose of alphabetizing it?

I have one entry which should be at the top of my list, but when I attempt the drop & drag, it bounces back down to the bottom of the list. I am using the proper d&d technique and have been able to alphabetize others. This one is just poorly behaved! :( Is there a reason for this?

What happens when you go to the folder in question and right click and select "Sort by name?"

Might also consider renaming the fav and place a 1 in front of the same to help with the sort order.

Thanks for your reply, Steve. I'm surprised that anyone took me seriously! :D

It's not the folder that's the problem; it's the stuff in the folder. When I try the right click, I am not highlighting a folder, but rather its contents, so the right click doesn't do anything but open the site which is highlighted in the folder.

Open the folder then move you mouse to the list of favorites in that folder - then right click and slect Sort by Name.

Worked like a charm. :) I don't know what I was doing wrong...

One thing I did figure out is that I had unknowingly allowed a space at the beginning of the ill-behaved offender, thereby preventing it from alphabetizing properly.

    Thanks again, Steve.
