Usually when i open any of my drives from my computer, it open in a new window and it displays all the folders ,items, and other stuff just like when you open a folder it shows every thing inside it.
But now when i click on my drive icon it gives me this message

As you have seen now it asks me to choose a program to run it and i don`t know which 1 to choose from and i don`t know why it even it asks me for it now. can some 1 tell me why this is happening and how do i solve it.

    Welcome to WindowsBBS :)

I have edited your Thread title.

You may be infected with the autorun.inf virus - search your drive for autorun.inf - include hidden files and folders.

Although some programs include an autorun.inf the location you are looking for is in the C:\ drive.

    If present delete it .....

Start > Run > type in cmd > Enter

In the Command window which opens type cd\ at the flashing cursor followed by Enter.

At the C:\ prompt type attrib -r -h -s autorun.inf followed by Enter

At the C:\ prompt type del autorun.inf followed by Enter

You may need to restart the computer.

Let us know if autorun.inf was found and if so did deletion solve the problem?

I see from your screenshot that you have more than one drive/partition.

    Repeat for each drive.

When returned to the C:\> prompt type D: followed by Enter and repeat the command .....

At the D:\ prompt type attrib -r -h -s autorun.inf followed by Enter

At the D:\ prompt type del autorun.inf followed by Enter

Repeat for each drive letter that refers to a hard drive/partition.
