I'm back home from my emergency and have one more question on this. Would uninstalling and reinstalling the USB help any with this situation? I guess I could just try it and see if it works, but I can't remember how to do it. What I mean is, I know where to go to dump it, and I know that rebooting should reinstall it, but is there something else I should be doing, too? I did download the chip upgrade, at least I think I downloaded the right one, and wonder if the upgrade will still be in effect after the reinstall. Does any of this make sense?????? I'm still trying to find a fix on this so I won't have to go buy a new printer. I'm kinda subborn that way. :p

    Thanks for any feedback.

    :)
