Hi you all. I am a retired BellSouth employee. I worked for AT&T, transferred to BellSouth, retired from BellSouth in 1996, then worked for Siemens Network, then back to BellSouth again from 2000 thru 2004 when I fully retired. I worked in operations, then the last few years with Cisco routers. I also taught Cisco classes for preparation for CNA. Haven't done that in several years. I am trying to learn as much as I can about computers. I would consider myself a little above a beginner.....my next goal is to learn how to manage/work the registry in Windows. I have a disc I bought to promises to teach a little about it. Does anyone know of a good, easy to understand book that may help me learn "registry "?
I am old, very old, 71 years of age (18 grandchildren and two in the oven)with perhaps a few good years left which I intend to use learning new things. I speak a little English, a little Spanish, a little German, a little Portuguese, and am now trying to learn Mandarin.
It is nice to meet you all and I hope you can help me in my learning journey.
