   I just exported a copy of my OE6 messages with the standard File>Export command (eg Send/Incoming) but nowhere did it show me where the file went.
   
   Does someone know the pathname where I can find the file in case I need it for backup?

   Did you notice this dialogue (below) - export is to the programs noted. I guess if they do not exist the export fails.
   
   To backup your messages, etc follow the steps outlined in ....
