Running IE7 w/Vista. Looked at Office Depot site yesterday no problem. Later that evening, went back to same site, got strange lines on the page, only partial office depot icons and then everything froze. Nothing like this happens when I visit any other site, and it doesn't happen on the office depot site when I use Opera. Ran spyware, virus (multiple programs) and there is nothing on my PC. What is causing this?

Hi Artful. It could be the website you are visiting is having problems and as a result Internet Explorer freezes up when you try and access the website. Are you having problems with just that one website or do other websites freeze up also in Internet Explorer?

Try downloading and running ATF Cleaner from here, (check all the checkboxes and hit empty selected) http://www.snapfiles.com/get/atfcleaner.html. Also shut down all other backround programs that are running in the system tray before trying to access that website again. See if IE can access the website now.

The ATF program was not available on the Snap site. Tried shutting down addons, etc. and also ran internet cleaner type programs - no change - cannot access that page in IE7. Works with Opera.

Interesting. It could the website itself is having problems or is simply not 100% compatible with IE7. Can you give me the link to the website so I can make sure its not a website problem?

Also have you tried opening Internet Explorer< Tools< Internet Options< Advanced< Reset Option? Download and run ATF Cleaner from here http://majorgeeks.com/ATF_Cleaner_d4949.html. The link from snap files was outdated.

Let me know if there is any change. :)
