   Can I dual boot a 32 bit version of XPP on machine currently running a 64 bit version of vista?

   You can certainly dual boot an x32 OS with an x64 - done that with both versions of XP some moons ago - in fact at the time the computer was quad boot.
   
   As far as installing XP with Vista already installed I would point you to the various hits here ....
