    Hi all.

I just changed my OS from vista to XPP.

and I have downloaded all the drivers to make my laptop work.

however, I've noticed that my laptop is getting hotter while I'm watching video files. Such as on youtube..video.google.com and what not.

and then the computer just shuts down by itself because it gets too.

this never happened to me when i had the VISTA OS..

can you guys please help me out?

Hi JtLe. :) The first thing I would do is this:

Click Start< Right click My Computer and click Properties< Advanced tab< Under Startup and Recovery click settings. Make sure you uncheck the checkbox that says automatically restart after system failure. Also your labtop could be overheating. Make sure all the airways are unobstructed and are free of dust and dirt. See if moving your labtop to a different desk or surface helps to. Since you said the labtop is shutting off when you are watching a video try shutting down all backround programs that are running in the system tray in the taskbar to avoid any conflicts with installed software.

Get the drivers for WinXP for your laptop from Toshiba site [if they have it ] & install them. Everything should be ok then.
