Best cooling pad for laptop getting hot consistently!??

Hey folks,

I need a cooling pad for my Thinkpad T60p. I've done some workarounds but they're neither "pretty ", nor long-term solutions. I'm referencing the last post by Arie (post #22) in this thread so that we're all on the same page.

If anyone out there HAS a cooling pad and would like to sell it to me, I don't mind a used one.

Anyway, I've researched as to which one I should get, and is this the one you suggest/have/friends of yours have it?? I'll order it right now after you tell me which one to get.

I've also come across some "lifters" that simply lift up the laptop so as to create better ventilation, which might solve the problem since the Thinkpad T60p has vents on the bottom. It would also simply help dissipate the heat better if there is an inch or two additional room between the table and the laptop. Plus, it would be quiet.

I hope there are some folks out there who own one and can lead me to the promised land...

I guess this would be called a lifter but it does do the job for me and it lifts the 17" LCD up to my eye level on my desk.
