Update:

I had no response from Kevworks@xxx so I sent a similar email to Abuse@xxxx.

About an hour ago I got a response from Kevworks! Check it out ....my email is at the top.

Greetings,

This is my email of complaint regards continual spam from:

Plaza Neptuno, local #7
Via ricardo J Alfaro, Tumba Muerto
Panama Ciudad
Republica de Panama

Despite my several efforts to “Remove me” using the offered remove me function, I am still getting spam from these people. It appears that my effort to “remove me” merely confirms my e-address and attracts more spam? This problem has persisted for approximately one year.

I have added a typical “email header” below for your perusal. Is this a problem that you can do something about? Please advise me of what you can do about it, if anything.

Or perhaps you can advise me about what I can do about it?

Best regards,

David Exxxxxx

Hi David,

I have notified the customer, we'll see about getting you removed from their lists.

Update 2

Well, here I am again. I have had no response from "Abuse@xxxx ", but the good news is, I have not had anymore spam from the offending party. So lets hope that "Kev" has achieved the desired outcome.

In the meantime I have been using the MailWasher tool with great success and pleasure. It takes a small bit of extra time but matched up to the time wasted with unwanted emails, it is a great boon!

It is Xmas Day the day after tomorrow and we are going away with friends for 3 to 4 weeks on Boxing day. So I will not be able to update this thread until mid January. So:

All the Very Best Wishes to posters here and to the Staff of WindowsBBS and to all other posters as well. Merry Xmas to All

Update 3

Well, here I am again, after 4 weeks away on the south coast where it was very cool compared to Perth city near where I live. I still have had no response from "Abuse@xxxx ", and I have had one more spam from the offending party!

However, the MailWasher tool is working great, it even removes email from my ISP. So I will stay with MailWasher and ignore the spam, having "blacklisted" it.

A big thankyou to all who responded here and may your New Year be all that you hope for.

Glad the program is working out for you...:) Don't forget it will also do the same for your "pop3" (gmail, Hotmail, etc...) accounts if you have any...

Thanks also for keeping us updated with the "Spammer" saga...I hope it resolves itself...
