I don't use IE, very much at all. I use FF with IE Tab when I need to access an IE Centric page.

About 2 weeks ago, I started getting a Line 63 error and a request to start debug. I noticed if I entered debug, it was blank. If I selected No to debug, I would get a second Line 63 error, but a NO got through (most of the time) and all went well.

So I went to a native IE6 window and the same thing occurred again, same way, except if I entered debug and tried to close it, IE would close as well.

I also got several Line 0 errors, and a few others I did not record, nor did I get any other type of line error in FF IE Tab. So the problem is in IE, not FF or IE Tab.

    So what to do?

Reinstall IE6 or is there a simple solution to this?

Have you got all the latest patches and updates for IE from Win Updates?

I hate to say this to a FF lover but have you tried installing IE 7.0 and seeing if that helps.

IE Tools->Options->Advanced tab->Disable Script Denugging and Disable Show Script Errors

Steve, thanks. That worked. The only question now is what was going on?

Dohbar, I'll stay with IE6 for now, and no I haven't patched it for a long while. It is sufficient for what very little I use of it. I use FF 99.99% of the time, and with IE Tab, it was only when this Line 63 **** started that I used IE to get around it. Which of course didn't work most of the time.
