    Hi,

I just started getting the following error message when I try to Print Review a Spread Sheet created in Microsoft Works 7.0:

    "Microsoft Works
    Out of Memory
Save or close any open files or applications
    OK "

This happens even if I only have the Spread Sheet open with no other application open.

Any suggestions for a solution to this problem would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

    Some generic steps:

    1. Run chkdsk /f on hard disk partitions.
    2. Update your anti virus & spyware tools & scan computer.
    3. Remove junk files from your computer [use ATFCleaner or CCleaner].
    4. Defrag your hard disk.
    5. If all fails, try reinstalling Works.

    Hi Arie,

Installing an emulation printer driver as described in Microsoft Article ID: 841220 solves the "Out of Memory" error but you have to switch default printers in Control Panel, Printers & Faxes depending on whether you want to print Works documents or other types of printing like photo printing.

There seem to be many problems with MS Works printing. I've never used works & would suggest using Office instead.

Or if you want free, use Openoffice.
