i just re image my pc

i have the host name..the location of the printer..and the ip address

but it is not located in the directory...

i tried manually connecting to it via "connect to this printer.... "

but when i put in the location..host name..and ip address..it does not work..

can someone tell me the correct way to input the path?

I'm assuming your not in a domain directory.
Just do the add printer wizard and choose local printer attached to this computer.
Uncheck automatically detect and install my plug and play printer.
Hit next and and choose create new port and choose standard tcp/ip port
    and hit next.
    Hit next again.
Then put in the printers ip address in the Printer Name or IP Address
and the bottom field will fill up automatically.
    Then hit next.
Then browse to your driver and install it and your set.
You might do a print test page to make sure it works.
    Thanks,
    TT
