I have recently been trying to use the wi-fi at my local library. I can obtain
a connection to the network without a problem but when I open internet explorer, I simply get a message saying page cannot be displayed.
Previously I have used internet explorer with no problem when connected to a dial up network from home. I assume this is a settings issue somewhere
and would appreciaet anyones help & guidance.
    Thanks,

    Welcome canonman.

Can you confirm if its still working from home ?

If it is, there could be some configuration issue either with your computer or library network.

Ask the admin at your library if they need some special settings like gateway, proxy etc. to be set before you can access net or perhaps you need to login to some internal site ?
