Hello: Placed some websites in the host file, that I dont want visited on this pc by a certain little guy (not mentioning any names)!!LOL!!!!
Anyway, I tried to bring up one of them and I was still able to connect to that website!
Am I wrong or is this host file suppose to stop anyone from accessing any website that is placed on it?
Please let me know and if I am wrong how to block websites from being brought up on this pc? Thanks

I forgot to mention that I have other sites in the host file and they do block a site from coming up, like "ad.yieldmanager.com "

I will try a reboot and see what happens, because I dont think I did before, will let you know, Thanks

Course you know there are MILLIONS of links you'll want to block. Have you looked at any of the Parental Control type softwares?
