After installing a transformation pack for windows xp, my desktop icons are too spaced out. How do I fix this?

    Hi...For XP...

    - Right-Click on Desktop, select "Properties "
    - Click on "Appearence" Tab
    - Click on "Advanced" button
    - Under "Item" click on the "down" arrow and from the list you will see "Icon Spacing (Horizontal)" & "Icon Spacing (Vertical) "
    - Select one then change the size accordingly.

Note: I've never touched mine and both the Horizontal and the Vertical are set to 43.

EDIT: While searching I also found this link that might be helpful => http://www.windowsbbs.com/windows-xp/29778-cannot-change-desktop-icon-spacing.html

    Thanks

    Quoted From Before,

    "Dave

You are the man with the answer.

I unchecked the align to grid and changed the spacing and then rechecked the align to grid and they moved.

I tried again by leaving the align to grid checked and changed the spacing. They did not move until I unchecked the align to grid and rechecked it.

This was not a major issue but I knew it should work. In all my trying to get this to work I never did hit that combination. When it would not move, I would immediately change it back to the default setting.

Thank You for your help. "
