Games Bombing Out

    Hi all ive been running xp for a while now and latley my games have been starting up for a few secs and the just bombing out to the desktop,sitting on the taskbar and i cant minimize it or anything....To bo honest i cant really play any games at all now..
    Except hearts etc....I have the latest drivers etc so we can rule that out...

    Iam new to this forum so iam hoping someone out there had the same problem and can help me out

    What games are bombing on you? Are you using a nVidia GeForce video adapter by any chance?

    Hey.

    Old thread i know, but im having the same problem

    Any solutions, GeForce Card, would detonator drivers help?

    Nvidia detonator drivers are the answer - its just a case of finding which ones work best for you - some games dont like some drivers:(

    Had loads of driver problems recently til I went back one revision of driver

    Sorry for not posting before, I must have lost track of this thread somehow. :confused:

    Yeah, the detonator drivers are the way to go, but be cautioned, the most recent Detonator drivers from nVidia's site are not certified for XP but they are compatible. I've have some problems with XP puking every so often than can be attibuted to the Detonator drivers.
