    Greetings everyone.
My name is Pieter (pronounced Peter). I am a 66 year old retired guy from Johannesburg, South Africa. Young at heart and hopefully the brain is still functioning well :)
I would regard myself as a fairly experienced PC user and have built up my own computers for many years.
Hopefully I could contribute here and also get information and solutions about problems I have right now.

Looking forward to interaction with members here.

    Kind regards.
    Pieter.

    Dankie Arie.
Incidently, I am not Dutch, but of Afrikaans background "” Afrikaans, as you may know is a language which is derived from Dutch but is somewhat simpler than Dutch and has some words which have their origins in various languages, including English, French and even Indonesian. Although my parental home language was Afrikaans, being a born Rhodesian, I was educated in English, married an English wife so my first language is now English.
An example of Dutch versus Afrikaans: Hartelijk Welkom would be Hartlik Welkom in Afrikaans :)

    I assumed you'd knew Afrikaans ;)

Since I'm Dutch, I can understand most of it (have some friends in SA that I see one or two times a year).

My first language is also English now, since I live in Malta.
