    Hi Everyone,

When I am using the computer for a long period time, the IE toolbar icons change around. I have it set up for 2 rows of icons but then it will change to 4. I do have the option to Lock Toolbars checked. Also-after this happens, if I go to open one of my OE emails, it says- not enough memory to open this- and I have to reboot.

I also went into the C drive properties-Total Size 74.4 GB Free Space 63.8 GB-does this seem right?

Any help would be so much appreciated!

    XP SP2 Home
    IE6

I'm guessing you have a memory leak (that's RAM not HD), could you try Autoruns and post anything non Microsoft that you don't recognise from the startup list.

Your free space on the Hard Drive is fine (your computer's fairly empty) it's RAM you should be looking at (how much do you have and how much is free, use task manager).

Thank you for your quick reply. I have a picture of the task manager-I don't think that I can attach it.

I went into System Properties and it says 1.99 GB of ram-don't know if this is helpful, I will run the Autoruns.

I decided to remove all unnecessary toolbars from IE-Google, Snagit, Dictionary.com-to see if that would help and everything is working fine.
    Thanks!
