    Hello all!

I believe that it's OK to install the Swedish (or any other) language version of Office on an English language version of Windows XP but I'm not 100 % sure. Are there any potential problems?

    Sven,
I have made a "trial installation" and have not noticed any serious problems. However, in Internet Explorer > Tools > Internet options... > Programs > the Office programs doesn't get integrated. I didn't install Outlook but Frontpage is missing as "HTML editor ".

    Hi mailman,
    do you really think I'm that slow ... :( ... ?

A company donated to our flying club three computers they were phasing out. The OS is Windows XP pro, the english version but no Office suite. We have on our current computer (getting scrapped) Office XP pro (with Frontpage), the swedish version and I want to install that suite on one of the new (or less antiquated) computers.

It's not a big problem (Office programs not integrated in Internet Explorer), just something I noticed.

I was a bit puzzled and I thought you might not be aware. No insult intended. :)

I installed Office 2007 last Spring and that was the time I discovered FrontPage was absent. :)

    No insult perceived ... ... I'm just kidding ... :p ... !

As I recall the situation with Office XP (2002), there was Pro with and Pro without Frontpage.

No version of Office 2007 includes Front Page anymore because it has been replaced with Office SharePoint Designer 2007 for enterprise information workers and Expression Web for the professional Web designers.
