Can someone please tell me where the incoming email attachment file is? In Eudora there was a folder called Attach. Anything like this for Outlook?

If you can't see it in the email - you didn't get an attachment.

Outlook stores everything (mail/contact/calendar entries) etc in one large file called Outlook.pst.

Yes I know if it isn't in the email I didn't get it. Should have worded my question differently. In Eudora when there is an attachment in an email it appears in the email and eudora also puts it in a folder called attach. Does the Outlook pst contain the attachments also. If so what do I use to open this file?

You would need to open the attachment from within the email;)

If the attachment was deleted from the mail, it was also deleted from the .pst file.

Steve. We are not on the same page. I know how to open attachments. I want to know if outlook puts attachments in a seperate folder for future access as eudora does. Example. I receive a blueprint as an attachment in an email. In eudora the attachment not only appears with the email but is archived in a folder called attach. The only things in this folder are email attachments. Nothing else. Then two weeks later if I want to send that blueprint to an associate all I have to do is generate an email, click attach, highlight the file and off it goes. Having a seperate folder of attachments makes this more convenient. I simply want to know if outlook has an attachment only folder somewhere or will I have to create one manually and transfer attachments to this folder as they come in!

NO. Outlook does not store file attachments in a seperate folder.
