Windows XP boot screen subtitles?

    I purchased a full install XP Pro CD this past summer before production ended. I decided to do a clean install today on my laptop and I noticed on the Windows XP boot screen or splash screen there is no subtitle saying "Professional" anymore? My question is did MS eliminate the subtitles or did I do something wrong?

    You've done nothing wrong ;)

    To put your mind at rest if you right click on "My Computer" and select properties the "General" tab will show you what version of XP you are using. :)

    Thank you Wildfire I was able to confirm my version as you outlined. Maybe MS eliminated the subtitles after maybe SP1.

    Honestly I couldn't say...

    I do remember the professional wording before but I'm using SP3 now and don't recall when it was removed.

    Either way, nothing to worry about ;)
