Video capturing.

Hi
Can any one tell me a few good "and easy" video capturing softwares.

I'm talking like "you tube" or news videos that I can download and will convert them to a Windows Media player format.

This one has worked well for me.

 

You don't need any special software to capture a Youtube video. Anything you see or hear on your computer can be saved to your computer. This is what I tell my high school students anyway.

Here is what I do. Play the video that you want. When it is finished, the video can be found in Your Temporary Internet folder. Right click and copy the video and paste it to a permanent location, (My Videos would be a good choice). Your done. You now have a copy of the video.

To convert the .flv file to a .wmv, I use Super. Its is a free download and it works great.

Don't care for the naming convention, but that's just a minor annoyance.
