Outlook Express is an integral part of IE and XP - used it for years - so you already have it.

Firstly my ISP has a spam scanner and secondly I run the ESET Security Suite which contains an effective antispam module - not that much gets past my ISP - couple a month maybe :)

I hear good things of MailWasher although I have not had occasion to evaluate it.

Thanks again PeteC for your help & the Info on Mailwasher..I'll give good ole OE a try, its been awhile. I've used so many different E-mail programs over the years but they all bore me after awhile. Anyway, thanks and i'll give OE a look see with mailwasher!

I use Outlook 2007. I have all my anti-spam controls & anti virus scanning done on my own server (where I receive the email). Only about 1 in 500 will get to my inbox :).

Outlook's Junk E-mail filter seems pretty decent and catches at least 1/2 of those that make it past my server filters.

Hi Arie, I have Outlook 2003 and I have started using it as off yesterday. The Junk e-mail in Outlook 2003 seems very good so far. I would love to get a copy of Outlook 2007 but can't afford it. Oh well, Thanks Arie & I hope you and your family have a safe and Happy Holiday Season.
