networking pcs

Hi,

I have just moved to a new house and setup our main pc with cable internet. Now in a room next to this pc, i have another pc and i would like to get access to this pc as well. Both pcs run win xp home. In order to avoid any cables between the rooms what is the best solution to share the connection?

A wireless DSL router and an adapter for one of the machines, your main computer can remain wired to the router.

Fairly simple to set up but use some encryption on the wireless side, since you're starting from scratch then buy the same brand router and adapter, many come together now in the same (starter) package.
