    HI all.
Have downloaded synctoy, installed, runs manually no problems. I cannot get it to run in the scheduler. I have typed in the run box "C:\Program Files\Microsoft\SyncToy\SyncToy.exe" -R the -R makes it run all folder pairs. It will not work.
    Any help appreciated.
Can I put a command line into autoexec.bat like run "C:\Program Files\Microsoft\SyncToy\SyncToy.exe" -R. would this work?

    Thanks
    George:)

Did you setup the schedule logged on with Administrative rights and enter your Administrator password in the dialogue box?

OK, but did you enter the Admin password in the Schedule dialogue box?

Yes I entered it twice. Would this cause it not to run.
At this stage I would be more interested in a .BAT file change any thoughts.

XP does not use the autoexec.bat file so that would not work.

Scheduled tasks require a non-blank password which I guess you are using?

Did you setup the task using the Scheduled Task Wizard? If not I would do so. I am not sure if you can use the switch -R - have you tried the schedule without?

Yes tried it with and without the -R according to the help file you can. I will see what version it is maybe uninstalling and reinstalling it.

Have you tried scheduling another task? - the problem may not be with SynchToy - I suspect it is not.
