New Senior to the Forum

I have been retired for 15 yrs and use my computer as a home record keeper and source to the outside world. I like to surf the web for information to support purchases, medical supplies, reseach projects, commuicate with friends, on-line shopping, and many other tasks I can't think of now. Since I retired in 1993 I am amazed at the advancement of computers and systems. So much so I read the Windows BBS newsletters and Postings to solve my problems and keep up to date.

I just purchased a new 17" Laptop with Vista Home Premium which I have to learn to use and will probably need some support. Had to have a larger screen for the poor ole eyes. Happy to be aboard.
